Baked Scallops

An easy recipe for baked scallops with a wonderful sauce of butter, lemon and Parmesan.

Baked Scallops

INGREDIENTS:
  1. 2 lb. large sea scallops (15 per pound)
  2. 6 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted
  3. 2 tablespoons dry white wine
  4. 1 tablespoon fresh lemon juice
  5. 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese, plus 1/4 cup more for topping
  6. 1 teaspoon coarse kosher salt (or 1/2 teaspoon sea salt)
  7. 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  8. 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  9. 1 teaspoon dried parsley
  10. 1/8 teaspoon cayenne pepper
  11. 1/4 teaspoon sweet paprika
  12. 2 tablespoons chopped fresh parsley

INSTRUCTIONS:
  • Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.
  • Rinse the scallops and pat dry. Place in a lightly greased casserole dish.
