Chicken Parmesan

This easy baked chicken parmesan recipe is sure to become a family favorite in no time! Serve it with some egg noodles or mashed potatoes for the perfect weeknight dinner. 

Chicken Parmesan

Ingredients
  1. 4 chicken breast halves skinless boneless
  2. 1/2 cup flour
  3. 2 eggs
  4. 2/3 cup Panko bread crumbs
  5. 2/3 cup Italian Seasoning bread crumbs
  6. 1/3 cup grated parmesan cheese
  7. 2 tablespoons parsley
  8. 4 tablespoons oil or as needed
  9. 24 oz marinara sauce homemade or jarred
  10. 1 cup mozzarella cheese shredded
  11. 1/4 cup shredded Parmesan cheese
  12. basil & parsley fresh, chopped

Instructions
  • Preheat an oven to 425°F.
  • Place flour in shallow dish. Place the eggs in a second dish (and beat with a fork).
  • Combine Panko, Italian crumbs, grated parmesan, 2 tablespoons fresh parsley, salt and pepper to taste in a third shallow dish.
  • Pound chicken breasts to 1/2 inch thick (if they're very large you can cut them in half).
