INGREDIENTS
CUPCAKES
  1. 3/4 cup flour
  2. 1/2 cup cocoa powder
  3. 3/4 teaspoon baking powder
  4. 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
  5. 1/4 teaspoon salt
  6. 2 eggs, room temp
  7. 1/2 cup sugar
  8. 1/2 cup light brown sugar
  9. 1/3 cup canola oil
  10. 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
  11. 1/2 cup buttermilk, room temp

FROSTING
  1. 2 sticks butter
  2. 4 and 1/2 cups powdered sugar
  3. 2 Tablespoons heavy cream
  4. 1/4 teaspoon salt
  5. 2 and 1/2 tablespoons strawberry puree

  • Preheat the oven to 350 degrees. Line a 12 cup muffin pan with cupcake liners and line a second pan with 2 liners. Set aside.
  • Whisk the flour, cocoa powder, baking powder, baking soda, and salt together in a large bowl. Set aside.
