VALENTINE RED VELVET CUPCAKES RECIPE

INGREDIENTS
  1. 3 eggs at room temperature for 30 minutes
  2. 3/4 cups butter at room temperature for 30 minutes
  3. 3 cups flour
  4. 2 teaspoons unsweetened cocoa powder
  5. 3/4 teaspoons salt
  6. 2 1/4 cups sugar
  7. 1 1/2 teaspoons vanilla
  8. 2 tablespoons red food coloring
  9. 1 1/2 cups buttermilk (You can also use powdered buttermilk, following the directions on the container. This is a great option if you don’t use buttermilk often.)
  10. 1 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
  11. 1 1/2 teaspoon vinegar

INSTRUCTIONS
  • Set the oven temperature to 350 degrees and allow the oven to heat while making the batter.
  • Spray two twelve cup muffin tins with a non stick cooking spray and sprinkle both with a little flour tapping out any excess.
