WHITE CHOCOLATE ALMOND JOY TRIFLE

A delicious combination of flavors all in one easy recipe. If you love the combination of chocolate, almonds, and coconut, then you are going to love this amazing White Chocolate Almond Joy Trifle!Trifles have quickly become one of my favorite desserts to make whenever I need a quick and easy, yet beautiful dessert. 

WHITE CHOCOLATE ALMOND JOY TRIFLE

Ingredients:
  1. 1 box (15 ounce) Devil's Food chocolate cake mix (GF Option: use a gluten-free chocolate cake mix)
  2. 3 boxes (3.3 ounces, each) white chocolate instant pudding (GF Option: use gluten-free brand of pudding)
  3. 3 cups unsweetened flaked coconut
  4. 4 (1.61 ounces, each) Almond Joy Candy Bars, chopped (this candy is gluten-free as of the creation of this post)
  5. 1/2 cup chopped almonds
  6. 1 tub (8 ounces) whipped topping (GF Option: use gluten-free brand of whipped topping)

Instructions:
  • Make cake according to the directions on the box. When finished baking, remove from oven and allow it to cool to room temperature.
  • While the cake is cooling make pudding according to directions on the packaging.  
  • Place a layer of chocolate cake crumbles in the bottom of a trifle bowl. Add a layer of pudding, a layer of chopped candy bars, and a layer of shredded coconut. (Tip: candy bars chop much easier if they are frozen).
  • Continue layering all ingredients until trifle bowl is full.
