This light and delicious cake is perfect for any occasion.

BEST STRAWBERRY CAKE EVER

INGREDIENTS
STRAWBERRY PUREE
  1. 1 cup chopped, fresh strawberries*
  2. 1/4 cup sugar
  3. 1/4 cup water

CAKE MIXTURE
  1. (16.25 oz) white cake mix
  2. 1 (3 oz) strawberry gelatin (dry powder only)
  3. 1 cup sugar
  4. 1 cup all purpose flour
  5. 1 cup sour cream
  6. 3 eggs
  7. 1 cup of strawberry puree (the above recipe makes 1 cup)
  8. *You can also use frozen strawberries if you can’t get fresh!

INSTRUCTIONS
FOR THE STRAWBERRY PUREE
  • Bring to a boil and boil for one minute. Remove from heat and cool. I like to pour the cooled mixture into my Blentec and puree it. If you don’t have a blender, chop the strawberries small so that little bits of strawberry go through the cake.
